Aerial imagery captured in the aftermath showed smoke still rising from the compound of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who was killed in the initial wave of attacks. Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmail Baghaei told NPR that the country intends to press on against what he described as "foreign aggression and foreign domination."
