Glover revealed that he received his diagnosis shortly after being honored with an honorary Oscar in 2022. Despite the gravity of his condition, he has approached it with remarkable composure. "I could live with it, in a sense. I'm sure as it advances, things are going to be different and changing," he shared during the interview. He acknowledged that his memory, speech, and physical movements have gradually slowed, but emphasized that the unwavering support of his family has been his greatest source of strength.
His daughter, Mandisa, joined him during the interview and stressed how vital it was for her father to share his story on his own terms. "What better time but now for him to speak for himself?
