BBC's 'Hamburg Days' Finally Has Its Beatles

The BBC has officially assembled its young Fab Four for the highly anticipated six-part drama series Hamburg Days, which chronicles the scrappy, formative years of one of the most iconic bands in music history.

The Cast Revealed

The production has tapped a fresh ensemble of talent to bring the legendary musicians to life on screen. Rhys Mannion takes on the role of the bold and outspoken John Lennon, while Ellis Murphy steps into the shoes of the charming and melodic Paul McCartney.

Rounding out the lineup, Harvey Brett is set to portray the quiet yet gifted George Harrison, and Louis Landau will play Stu Sutcliffe, the band's original bass player and drummer whose story remains one of rock's most poignant.

A Story Set in Post-War Germany

The series takes audiences back to the gritty clubs and smoke-filled venues of Hamburg, Germany, where a young and hungry band from Liverpool cut their teeth before achieving worldwide fame. It was during these turbulent, electrifying years that the Beatles transformed from a rough-around-the-edges group into the musical force that would go on to change popular culture forever.

With a compelling cast now in place, Hamburg Days promises to offer an intimate and authentic look at the origins of the world's most celebrated band.
